I wish my car would do 120 at 2,800 rpm.

My car does 80 at 2800, my guess is C5 corvette? Looks GM

The ones I know are mostly speed limit followers, but there’s a couple I know who enjoy a good speed run

I think it’s a C5 vette, it definitely looks gm to me

Probably, looks just like the gauges out of the 2001 Sonoma I drove for a previous job.

Confession: fastest I've ever gone is 110, and I wasn't driving.

Plot twist, it’s an LS swapped twin turbo Sonoma

Fastest I’ve driven? 115 in Colombia.
Fastest I’ve been a passenger? 138 in a 996 Turbo.

Jeez, gimme some of that KitKat bar.
Fastest I've driven is still 95mph... I belong in a Tercel

Driving myself? 200km/h being driven... like 250?

If you join the triple digit club, I’ll let you upgrade to a Paseo.

138 in a 996 Turbo is a pretty high bar for a college student.
Now THAT was fast.

Girl I knew years ago got a triple-digit speeding ticket. I heard that she eventually went on to do dirt track racing and motorcycle racing .
But thinking about it I guess a lot of the stupid driving things the women I’ve known have done haven’t been related to speed. L ike driving while drunk/high to the point of not knowing about that light pole she knocked down on the way home .

Don’t think a Corvette would have a 120 mph speedo

Fastest I’ve been a passenger was also 138 (indicated) , in Colombia!

I did 138 in my TSX once, it was a good time. Definitely not doing it again though

Really? I think the fastest I’ve been is whatever the speed of the airplane I was in was*
*I wasn’t driving either ;)
In reality though the fastest I’ve driven was 145mph, and I think the fastest I’ve been a passenger was the same car, and about the same speed. Though I’m wondering if the speedometer was a bit inaccurate. It was a 1990 Olds Cutlass Supreme. I feel like that’s probably faster than it should have been possible for the car to go.

Its not a C5. It is GM tho, maybe an early 2000s truck.
![]() 10/07/2019 at 08:26 |

Nope, that’s a truck of some sort. C5's have different gauges.

Come on, I did 107~MPH in my old 900$ (with new tires) Civic. Fastest I have ever driven

Chevy/GMC truck with the non-returning speedometer needle feature. I’ve driven one of these. Accelerate to say 5
0 then come to a stop, the needle stays at 5
0. Accelerate to 50 again and it’ll add that on top of the original 50 and say 100.
